This is a Prussian early WWI 'Pickelhaub' leather helmet. Spike missing. A large eagle emblem on the front of helmet reads: MIT GOTT FUR / KOENIG / UND VATERLAND (With God For King and Fatherland). It is thought to have been brought back by Raglan men who fought in World War One.
