Toby jug (Robert Muldoon)
Shared by
Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa
This toby jug caricatures Robert Muldoon (1921-1992), National Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1975-1981. Its original attribution to Peter Lange, brother of David Lange, Muldoon's successor, was denied by the artist. Robert Wallace, the jug's artist, is a Nelson based potter.
