Round ceramic toothpaste pot with lid. Lid transfer printed with cherries and text: 'Cherry Toothpaste, for Beautifying and Preserving The Teeth and Gums'. Crazed glaze, chips in rim and edges of pot and lid. One of a collection of domestic items salvaged in the 1970s from the SS MAORI which ship wrecked in 1909 off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa.
