New Zealand Maritime Museum Hui Te Ananui a Tangaroa

A line for a sounding lead used by the donor with 2016.90.1 on his yacht PATRICIA, a wooden H28, from 1973 to 1975 while sailing in the Pacific. The donor made the line and marked it in increments with leather tags and coloured yarns inserted into the lay of the rope.
