Shipwright's Half-Hull Model
Shared by
Brain-Watkins House Museum (Est. 1881)
Shipwright's half-hull model, schooner type, mounted onto wooden plaque. Most likely made by Brain for his business. No ship name found, so perhaps generic examples of the type of boats Brain was building. "May correlate with photographs or drawings of vessels known to have come out of his boatyard, this is an area for further research." - Detlef Klein (2023).
