This two draw Captains table is made out of Mahogany, it is not original to the Edwin Fox but represents the type of table which would have been in the masters cabin on board 19th Century sailing ships. This cabin is believed to date from circa 1860 and was kindly donated by Mrs D K Antiss, Wellington, New Zealand.
