Mangawai Courthouse being demolished. The Courthouse was shifted from Hakaru to Mangawai c 1918 and sited about 200 metres west of the Mangawai Hotel. When it was demolished the timber went to build Tommy Chappels house on the corner of Old Waipu Rd and Cove Rd, Mangawai
