The Brownies Promise Badge, the 'Brownie Man on a broad metal bar, belonging to Elsie 'Laurel' Dunham (later Howard). Elsie was born in 1926 and attended Brownies in Mt Eden. This badge design continued relatively unchanged until the late 1960s.
