Vessel

This unglazed conical vessel is roughly made from a coarse red clay. With a wide flared mouth with a flat rim, and a small rounded base, the vessel is cone shaped. There are ringed horizontal indentations on the exterior and interior, possibly from the manufacturing process. It is possible this could be a lid for a larger vessel.Inscribed near tip "No 265 Egypt" [Accession number: 231.22.12]
