Nicholas Blanchet was highly commended in Menswear section of the 1994 Benson Hedges Fashion Design Awards for this ensemble. It was described at the awards as: "Nicholas Blanchet's version of the 'all-black' - a sleek combination of flannel, wool jersey, mesh and stretch satin."
