Egyptian bowl

This pale ceramic bowl has remnants of red, orange and black glaze decoration. The circular bowl has a wide mouth with a flattened rim, and a softly rounded carination (ridge-like formation) at the mid point of the body. Below the carination the sides taper inwards to a small flared foot which has a circular base. The base has a flattened edge with an indentation in the centre. This artefact ...
