
Egyptian jug

This Egyptian vessel is made of a coarse pale buff clay. The spherical body has a rounded base, a short neck, and a flared, flattened rim. Rolled lug handles are attached on opposite sides on the shoulder. This artefact was likely used in a domestic or funerary context. [Accession number: 231.22.21]
