NZ Warbirds at Ardmore features two hangars which showcases a small part of the association’s collection of WW1 and WW2 airworthy and 2 static aircraft.

With over 20 aircraft types on display spanning over some 100 years of aviation history, NZ Warbirds at Ardmore enables the aviation-minded public to view these former service and historic aircraft up close and personal from various viewpoints.

The number and types on show vary depending on airshow, training and maintenance commitments. Weekends are the peak of flying activity.

We have on display one of the largest collections of scale model military aircraft in the world and visual dioramas of NZ squadrons participation in both the Pacific and European theatres of WW2
