The NZ Marine Studies Centre provides a window into marine research at the University of Otago. The centre showcases local marine life and offers marine education programmes for all ages. Our mission is to foster understanding and appreciation of Aotearoa’s unique marine environment and responsibility towards its conservation. From school visits to community workshops and programmes, there are marine activities for everyone.

Our education programmes are supported by a range of exhibits/displays such as our:
