The Awarua Communications Museum holds items primarily relating to the former Awarua Radio VLB/ZLB station that used to stand on the site the museum and archive is on today. We hold items used on the station itself, and items used on other similar sites. Items also include telephony and telegraphy items from the area.

We have a film theatre onsite that can be used for functions. We also have an archive of both material relating to the Awarua Radio and the site, radio and telephone in NZ, and further afield.
